Get started in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with our Fundamentals Program. Students learn the most basic and fundamental Jiu Jitsu techniques while working up a very good sweat. A typical Fundamentals class will begin with some stretching, some cardio and strength warm-ups before dividing into pairs and learning two or three techniques as instructed by Rodrigo.
All adult classes are 1 hour long and are usually structured in 3 main parts. Firstly, a general warm-up that is followed by learning and practicing techniques and then Specific Training to finish up. The Specific Training normally consists of specific situations associated with the techniques learnt on each session. An additional half hour is dedicated for optional sparring to allow the students to practice their technique in a live environment.
